I came across Michaella Pedros' work and I was inspired by the technique they developed of heating up plastic and shrinking it to join wood. The aim of this project is to pay attention to our global environmental issues and offer some hope and solutions. The wood pieces used to create this table are found objects from the university's waste box. I collected the plastic bottles and ball from the university's park.
