The inspiration behind these stools were my love for colouring pencils and its link to my childhood's experience with art. The first stool was made by cutting individual colouring pencil by hand and carefully placing them within the geometric stencil that was laser cut. After all the pencils were glued to the top of the stool, I poured in clear resin to create an even and comfortable surface to sit on. As for the second stool, I used a table saw to cut the legs at an angle to achieve the pencil shape for the legs. Then I used wood stain and added multiple layers to achieve the colourful legs.
